[Festival Crew] Important - End of broadcast this week

Hi gang,

The last day of 'live shows' will be this Wednesday - the 22nd.

I know that's soon, but there is just no point in carrying on past that,
because guests have far less interest in coming in that late in August, and
we've already had all the big names that we're going to get.

However, if you see/meet someone who you'd really like to get on, you can
arrange a pre-record with them.  If you do this, you will have to find
someone on the festival committee with a studio key who is willing to let
you in at the time that you want to pre-record.  You *absolutely must* put
on the forums when you are wanting the studio.  Anyone on the crew can do
these interviews.  You can either ask someone to come and produce it for
you, or preferably just conduct the interview, then edit it up yourself.

*You must read the *instructions in the studio that deal with being the
'first and last show of the day' so that you are aware of how to turn the
kit on and off (obviously ignore the sections about the magic button).
After the 22nd *never* press the magic button or fiddle with the playout
computer.

Remember - keep the evening of the 27th free for a night of merriment, and,
if you're not working Wednesday morning (or you're a rebel) get your ticket
for the last Late 'n' Live in Teviot now!!
