[Festival Crew] Features, features, features...

Yo all

Thanks to all those who came along to the meeting last night.  Here's an
electronic copy of the Features-making sign-up sheet.  If you didn't get
chance to put your name to it, let me know when you're available and I'll
add you to the list.  From Saturday, there will be a digital recorder in the
studio specially put aside for Features-making, so all you will have to do
is turn up on your day to collect the recorder, potter off to make your
feature AND MAKE SURE YOU BRING THE RECORDER BACK BEFORE THE STUDIO CLOSES
(sorry, capitals = important).  If you're struggling for ideas, check out
the specially dedicated features section of the Fresh Air forums.

This is your opportunity to produce absolutely anything you like!  You can
go mad with it.  I know HP is making a feature about the best places to
drink whisky, whilst Laura's looking for best breakfasts.

The thing to do is to plan your feature BEFORE your scheduled day, then you
can pick up the recorder, record, bring it back and edit away to your hearts
content.  I'd suggest roping another Fresh AIrer into the audio-making, or
even a friend, if you have such things, as that makes the whole process
rather more fun.
