[Festival Crew] Radio1 update

Yo,

Thanks to all those who popped along this afternoon/evening - we now have a
vague plan!  It looks like this:


Intro (recorded in studio) with some fascinating facts about the festival
(eg, population doubling, number of street performers, etc)

Cut to roving reporter in an area of the city (like Royal Mile, or the
Pleasance) who will be out soaking up the "atmosphere" and getting vox pops
Top 3 BIG news stories of the week

Section for interviews, reviews or features from the past week

Closing with our top 3 tips for the next week


This is only a suggested structure (and bits of it are interchangeable), so
if you have any suggestions to make, please do!  We want this to be a group
venture.  It won't be the same without you so get your thinking caps on!!

What would YOU tip for the next week?

What do YOU think would make a good review?
What stock questions would YOU like to ask the general public vox pops
styleee?


Sunday morning is the deadline for all audio to be in, so it's getting
close!

ps, when Jo Whiley's show goes up for listen again on BBC.co.uk - she
mentions the edinburgh festival about 7 minutes in but I only caught the
last bit of that link!  Might be worth listening... hehe
